Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to and use of Sanctuary (mobile + sanctuary.app). They include the End-User Licence Agreement (EULA) required by the App Store. Read them carefully — they affect your legal rights.
1. Agreement
By installing, accessing or using Sanctuary (the “Service”) you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Tournahub Solutions Private Limited, India.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, non-sublicensable, limited licence to install and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use, on devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store / Play Store rules and these Terms.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. AI-content disclaimer
Sanctuary uses generative AI (Google Gemini, ElevenLabs, Deepgram, and other models we may swap in) to produce daily verses, cards, voice replies, reflections, and prayer memories. The output is computer-generated and may be inaccurate, incomplete or offensive. The Service is provided for prayer, ritual, and reflection — not as medical, psychological, therapeutic, legal, financial, theological or other professional advice. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a licensed professional.
You are responsible for evaluating the relevance and safety of any output. Do not rely on the Service for decisions with material consequences for yourself or others.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Premium features (voice sessions, unlimited intentions, audio cards, the practice library, manifested-intention export) require an active subscription, purchased through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing.
- Yearly: $69.99 / year with a 7-day free trial. Auto-renews annually at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Weekly: $6.99 / week, no trial. Auto-renews weekly at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Manage and cancel subscriptions in the App Store or Play Store account settings.
6. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. Subscriptions cannot be cancelled for the current active period; cancellation stops future renewals. Refund requests must be made directly to Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google (Play Store support). Sanctuary cannot process refunds for in-app purchases. Statutory consumer rights in your jurisdiction (including EU, UK, AU and IN) are not affected.
7. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Harass, abuse, threaten or harm any person.
- Solicit content from minors or impersonate another person.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
- Resell, rent or commercialise access to the Service.
- Bypass tokens, paywalls, or rate-limits.
- Submit, request, or encourage hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, self-harm, scam, spam, or otherwise objectionable content.
- Use the Service to generate content that violates applicable law (including, without limitation, hate speech, defamation, infringement of intellectual property, or sexually explicit content involving minors).
You can report any message in-app. Reported message text is removed from your chat immediately, and we keep only non-content audit metadata so our team can review and respond to safety concerns.
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section without notice.
8. User content
You own what you say into Sanctuary. By using the Service you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and process your inputs solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service for you (e.g. transcribing your voice, retrieving past intention context, surfacing your reflections). We will never train public foundation models on your data.
9. Intellectual property
Sanctuary, the orb mark, the “Sanctuary” wordmark, and all original copy, audio assets, and software are owned by Tournahub Solutions Private Limited and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. No rights are granted other than the limited licence in Section 2.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Settings → Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access for any breach of these Terms. Subscription terms continue to apply for the period already paid for.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR APPROPRIATE.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOURNAHUB SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The competent courts in India will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence.
14. App Store EULA Addendum (Apple)
If you obtained the Service through the Apple App Store, the following applies: these Terms are between you and Tournahub Solutions Private Limited only, not with Apple Inc. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Service. Apple is not responsible for any product warranties, claims, or legal compliance of the Service, and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms entitled to enforce them against you.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be surfaced in-app at next launch. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance. The current version always lives at sanctuary.app/terms.
